Forget hot chocolate stations and bar carts, 2024 is going to be the year of coffee house-inspired interiors. We have noticed a trend for the term ‘Kafe Aesthetic’ – increasing 820% over a 24-month period.

Coffee shops are very similar to the home – they are warm, inviting and increasingly multifunctional, with hubs for home workers while other corners are taken over by teenagers sampling iced treats. It is no surprise we are seeing their influence creep into home interiors.  Plush seating, carefully placed lighting and lots of natural materials will all help create the coffee house vibe within the home, but a backdrop of brooding browns will bring the whole look together.
