Wallrock Thermal Fire Resistant Adhesive, in 5kgs tubs, is a ready mixed extra strong adhesive with added flame retardant properties, to help protect combustible surfaces.

Wallrock Fireliner Thermal Fire Resistant Adhesive has been specially developed to hang Wallrock Fireliner Lining Paper. This revolutionary adhesive contains active fire retardants which help to reduce fire while concurrently improving the performance of the lining paper. This product should give you valuable extra time to get you and your family out of your home in event of a fire.

The Wallrock Fireliner Adhesive is water-based and includes a blend of preserved acrylic copolymers to ensure a lasting effect.

Surface Preparation

• Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from loose paint, plaster, dust and mould.
• Drywall and other absorbent surfaces must be sized and completely left to dry.
• Sizing should be completed at least 4 hours before. Pasting And Hanging - Paste-The-Wall
• Refer to wallpaper manufacturers label for specific instructions. Ensure wallpaper is suitable for Paste-The-Wall application.
• For best result use a roller to apply Wallrock Thermal Fireliner Adhesive generously and evenly to the wall. Ensure coverage of the wall from floor to ceiling is complete.
• A coverage rate of 1Kg per 5m2 is suitable for most products.

Wallrock Thermal FR Adhesive has been designed to create a permanent bond for Wallrock's technical linings. It also incorporates active fire retardants that assist with the dampening of flames and helps to enhance the fire performance of the product it is used to hang, such as Wallrock Fireliners.  These popular products have been used in conjunction with Wallrock Thermal FR Adhesive as part of a system which have been tested to BS476, the test results can be seen by clicking the links below.
